Fulfillment Center Senior Manager (Multi-Site)

Responsible for driving operational excellence in the rapidly growing Yelloh Mail Order program. This manager-level role has direct responsibility for leading the teams across our national Fulfillment Center network. The purpose of this role is to significantly increase the fulfillment capacity of the Yelloh Mail Order program and drive improvement in productivity, quality, and cost.
***This position will oversee operations in Payson UT, Bedford VA, Lewisville TX and Eagan MN. ***

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This job may participate in one or more of the following duties as directed by supervision or management.

• Responsible for operational excellence of Yelloh Mail Order Fulfillment Centers across the country, each with material handlers picking and packing frozen food orders daily.
• Directly manages Mail Order Supervisors, who directly manage the material handlers in the Fulfillment Centers.
• Coach, lead and motivate Mail Order Supervisors to raise the level of performance in their respective Fulfillment Centers. Frequently communicate with Mail Order Supervisors, ensuring clear targets/expectations and adherence to safety and operational processes.
• Identify and implement initiatives to significantly increase the capacity (i.e., orders shipped per week) of the Fulfillment Centers, to support rapid growth of this channel.
• Regularly visit Fulfillment Centers to conduct "work withs" - observe how things are done in each Fulfillment Center, then provide feedback and coaching to Mail Order Supervisors.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all Fulfillment Centers to identify wins to celebrate and opportunities for improvement. Work directly with Mail Order Supervisors to develop location-specific improvement plans and targets and follow up to ensure actions are executed.
• Optimize productivity of Fulfillment Centers and drive cost reductions
• Reduce reships/order errors by studying our top reasons for reships and implementing process improvements to reduce issues.
• Manage staffing levels across Fulfillment Centers, balancing needs to ensure adequate staffing to support growth while measuring and working to reduce labor costs as a % of revenue.
• Work with Director, Mail Order on long-term fulfillment strategy to support increase in future volumes. Strategize what kind of future network is necessary to handle this volume - how many Fulfillment Centers, square footage, floor plan, location optimized for UPS/FedEx.
• Manages, trains, and develops subordinates, if applicable
• Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Years of Related Experience: 7 - 9 years related experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Analytical skills (Microsoft Excel intermediate knowledge required, PowerBI/Tableau is a plus)
• Good problem-solving mindset: identifying opportunities, creating, and implementing action plans and monitor KPIs to ensure evolution.
• Team management skills: ability to lead by distance a team of 50 people in four different distribution centers.
• Fulfillment operations: ability to guarantee excellent service level and at the same time, think different and implement new process and routines to help double the business in an efficient manner
