JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Associate enters orders, schedules work/production, supervises and trains Associates, receives/stores/stocks items, changes pricing of items and does all department tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Promptly, at the start of the shift, the employee will review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.

· The Associate enters orders, schedules work/production, supervises and trains Associates, receives/stores/stocks items, changes pricing of items and does all department tasks as needed.

· The Associate resupplies all items on the island, bags trash, and keeps the island swept and free of snow.

· The Associate waits on customers, makes change, completes sales.

Max. Lift/carry:35 lb. (case of oil)

JOB TASKS:

Task 1. The Associate enters orders, schedules work/production, supervises and trains Associates, checks dates, changes pricing of items going out of code and does all department tasks as needed.

Task 2. The Associate resupplies island items: moves cartons of oil and puts cans of oil into racks, fills window washer containers with solution, refills paper towel rack.

Task 3. The Associate collects and bags all trash from the island.

Task 4. The Associate keeps the islands swept and clean and clear of snow in the Winter.

Task 5. The Associate waits on customers from his booth, completes transactions, makes change or completes paperwork, sells items for sale.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS SPECIFICATIONS:

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

· Must be authorized to work in the US.

· Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner and to comply with Company policies and safety regulations.

· Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.

· Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.

· Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

· Must be able to perform all job functions safely.

· Must meet the company performance standards for the job.

· Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.

· Must have keyboarding skills.

JOB SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Must have & maintain valid any specialty licenses, certificates, or permits required for the position.

GENERAL RULES:

· Report ALL ACCIDENTS & file incident report to the Supervisor within 24 hours.

· Get first aid IMMEDIATELY for ALL injuries.

· Follow instructions. Whenever in doubt, ASK.

· Report unsafe conditions to the Supervisor.

· Apparel & footwear must follow the company policy.

· Horseplay is forbidden.

· No running on the premises.

· Know emergency evacuation routes, exits, and alarms.

· Employees must wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) where required.

· Use proper lifting procedures.

· Keep floors and work areas clear and clean.

· Never leave running machinery unattended.

· This is a smoke free shop. Smoking in designated areas.

· Employees are responsible for understanding company policy and procedures as promulgated in the Policy and Procedure Manual and the Employee Manual.

· Know MSDS information about all materials used during work.

· Must complete & follow “Lockout/Tagout” training.

· Must complete & follow “Confined Space” training.

· Must complete “Right-to-Know” training.

EQUIPMENT AND/OR TOOLS USED FOR THIS JOB:

· Broom, trash containers, trash bags, cash register, telephone.

REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT and PROCEDURES:

· Use hand protection when necessary.
