Our engineers work in teams creating designs to guarantee the country's high-speed internet and 5G cellular service is the best in the world. We have 400 employees today, but we'll need to double that number by 2024.

SQUAN's Engineering team is seeking Fiber Design Quality Control Engineers with fiber-to-the-home design experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in design for FTTH including permit civil design and fiber design and architecture.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize PDF editing software to produce detailed redlines of civil engineering and fiber designs
- Provide feedback based on QC findings
- Understand and be able to redline multiple fiber architectures
- Consistent updates to project trackers
- Provide effective communication to all team members
- Must have a working knowledge or NESC clearance requirements and standards for Make Ready Engineering (MRE)
- Familiar with permitting standards
REQUIREMENTS
- 4 years of telecommunications design experience
- 2+ years of recent experience utilizing AutoCAD to create fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) designs including assigning fiber counts
- Bluebeam experience highly preferred; Adobe Acrobat or similar PDF editing software acceptable
- Experience utilizing Excel, SiteTracker, etc. to track progres
- Ability to train and create training documents
- Proficient in Windows operating system environment with working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to read and extract ROW maps
