Freight Forwarding Ftl Brokerage Coordinator

The E.I.S Group, Inc trading as Distribution by Air is looking for a new employee to join our fast growing team!

This role is full time in office, no remote work.

This position will be expected to improve several keys and essential aspects of our Brokerage Operations, including but not limited to the following:

-Responsible for quoting, booking, monitoring, and billing Full Truckloads for EIS Logistics, while maximizing profitability and meeting or exceeding service standards

-Work with the Operations team to onboard new carriers to meet the ever growing needs of our organization

-Professional communication with dispatchers and drivers to track the status of loads

-Negotiating pricing with carriers in a manner that optimizes profits

-Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services

-Providing operations team with price quotes

-Provide escalation efforts, via email and phone to customers and carriers as needed

-Collaborating with shippers, carriers and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs

-Overseeing Billing and Invoicing

-Updating customers on the status of shipments, and assisting with other inquiries

Candidates should have a sense of urgency in turn around time for quotes, shipments, and customer service updates. Ability to negotiate, prioritize and set goals is a must, along with being growth oriented and expressing a strong drive to go the extra mile.

The working hours will be 9:00am to 6:00pm
