Ft Nanny - Jc 0350 - Winnetka - 47.5 Hours/Weekly

Job Description: Loving family in Winnetka is seeking an energetic, education-focused nanny for their family. Position will begin July 2024.

Schedule: Guaranteed 47.5 hours a week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm
Compensation: $30+/per hour, + vacation, holidays, and sick days.
Job Details and Responsibilities:

• Two children: 5-year-old & 2.5-year-old. 5-year-old attends full time school, 2.5-year-old attends half day Preschool.  
• Responsibilities include all care of the children: helping children to get ready for the day, taking to and from school and activities, naps/quiet time; bathing, if needed, preparing healthy snacks & cooking meals, arranging play dates.

• Light housekeeping includes tidying and organizing toys, kid laundry, and keeping track of children’s needs.

• Nanny should actively engage with the children in fun, yet developmental, activities, both inside and out of doors.

• Both parents will be home during the day. Nanny must be comfortable with this arrangement and willing to work alongside the family in a “tag team” environment.

• The family has one hypoallergenic dog. No care for the dog is required, but Nanny should be comfortable around pets. 

• Nanny must be able to travel with the family both domestically and internationally multiple times a year.

Qualifications:

• Nanny should have extensive, verifiable nannying experience.

• Nanny is looking for a long-term commitment with a family. 

• Nanny should be warm and caring. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the child and the family.

• Nanny should be self-sufficient. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children’s needs. 

• Reliable and communicative.

• Driving is required for the role. Family will provide a vehicle. Nanny should have a safe driving record.

• COVID vaccine required; flu vaccine preferred.
