PURPOSE:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position would be involved with accounts payable using the accounting software. Which includes entering invoices, downloading and uploading bank transactions, making bank deposits or using remote deposit scanners. Record daily deposits, prepare office deposits, perform reconciliations, reconcile vendor accounts and communicate with vendor. You would have the opportunity to assist the finance department with special projects and assist the department with 1099’s each year.
Minimal Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience and/or recent formal training in basic accounting, including accounts payable and bank reconciliations.
• Strong PC skills including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team or independently.
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to keep sensitive information confidential

PREFERRED Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Business Administration/Finance preferred and/or equivalent experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
