PlayHT is at the forefront of generative voice and conversational LLMs. With our Speech Synthesis and Voice Cloning models, we are building the SOTA conversational AI products.
We are building a platform and infrastructure for Conversational AI Voice Agents so that every business, developer, or tinkerer can easily build talking human-like AI agents and use them to serve their customers; this will unlock massive value for the world and a lot of happiness for people using these delightful agents.
We joined YC last year in the YC W23 batch. Since then, we have raised $8m in seed funding and seen significant growth in users and revenue (20x the last two years).
What Are We Looking For?
We're looking for a Frontend Engineer who is passionate about solving challenging problems, crafting delightful UIs, and inventing the future of how people interact with LLMs. By joining our web team, you have the opportunity to be a founding engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Conversational and Voice AI.
Examples of what you could do:
Redesign core full-stack features like our Home Page and other product pages.
Create signup and onboarding flows as the first interaction between our users and the product.
Prototype and experiment with new ways to get users to their first magical “aha!” moment when creating voice agents.
Work on integrating CRM tools like Srtapi or Payload to scale our website.
Responsibilities:
Ship new UI features using TypeScript, Nextjs, React, Tailwind CSS, Firebase, and Node.js.
Improve the performance and user experience of existing features across the website, anywhere from signup to advanced use cases.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
Working experience building Frontend applications with TypeScript, Tailwind and Nextjs.
Working experience building directly for users.
Self-directed and comfortable working autonomously.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to experience and skill level, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Compensation Range: $60K - $100K
