Front Office Receptionist
Job Description
The Front Office Receptionist is a liaison between the clinic and the patients. They are friendly, customer-oriented, and ensure each patient feels welcomed as soon as they walk through the door. They are responsible for managing patient check-ins and data entries to ensure the clinic runs quickly and efficiently.
Job Duties
Patient check-in responsibilities:
- Collecting payment/communicating billing info
- Collecting/checking pertinent paperwork
- Uphold/enforce cancellation policy
Phone responsibilities:
- Taking cancellations and reschedules
- Scheduling appointments
- Redirecting patients to the appropriate lines
- Communication with other doctor’s offices
- Schedule follow-up appointments
- Manage/update patient prescriptions
- Will be responsible for presenting metrics at weekly staff meetings
Experience:
- Experience working for an Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic
- Front desk experience
- Health insurance experience
- Experience working with EMR system, Theraoffice

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
