Concorde Battery Georgia Corporation is currently looking for an office assistant to assist in the Customer Service Department. The successful candidate will need be able to perform general office functions as detailed below.
Competencies:
- Receive visitors at the front desk and welcome, direct and announce appropriately.
- Follow safety procedures and control visitor access via receptionist desk (monitor log book, issue visitor badges, receive completed & signed access forms, and verify visitor pre-screening in advance of visit).
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
- Receive and sorting daily mail.
- Monitor and stock supply closet shelves.
- Perform various clerical duties such as data entry, light billing & order processing, filing, photocopying, typing and scanning.
- Support Customer Service and other departments as directed.
- Proven work experience as a receptionist, office assistant or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines, printers, scanner).
- Professional & Customer Service Attitude.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Multitasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Courteous, friendly and helpful
Education and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Read, write, and speak English
- Punctual and reliable
- Must complete pre-employment physical/drug screen
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
