Established in 2012, Oishii Sushi and Karaoke Lounge is back and open for business! We are looking for fun individuals to join our team. We require that you are able to work Fridays and Saturdays, including all holidays. Training will be required and necessary. All part-time employees will be paid an hourly wage, plus tips. A bonus will be awarded after 30 days of employment with the completion of all server certifications and a bonus is given every month thereafter. Front of House Position Requirements: ($16.00/hour starting wage)
- Required to work any position as scheduled: Host, Server, Expeditor, and Room Attendant/Busser. Tips are shared equally across all positions based on employee levels.
- Knowledgeable of all store policies and information; such as room details, rates, hours, and reservation procedures.
- Must be able to work Fridays and Saturdays, and late night. We close at 2 am.
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must greet all customers with a smile and guide them in the dining and use of our karaoke rooms.
- Must attend any and all messes promptly.
- Be a TEAM PLAYER!
Qualifications to becoming a Lead Server: ($18/hr, DOE)
- Minimum of 2 years serving experience in the food & hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, sake, and liquor. Exceptional knowledge of common cocktails and experience with bottle service.
- Ability to multi-task and provide assistance to all staff including, hosting, bussing, cashiering, serving, and general cleaning.
- Responsible for delegating tasks across shift members, while working together as a team.
- Focus on customer satisfaction and ability to prevent conflicts.
Qualifications to becoming an Assistant Manager: ($20/hr, DOE)
- 2+ years experience as a Lead Server with the ability to perform all staff positions with little to no assistance.
- Focus on maintaining a healthy work environment between employees.
- Ability to deescalate conflict between customers and employees.
- Remain calm under pressure, and determine the problem before contacting upper management for the solution.
- Must be technologically savvy with computers, and sound systems, able to assist in schedule and reservation management, online social presence, and/or other administrative duties.
