We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical support and assistance to end-users in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring computers and peripherals, and managing user accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first level technical support for hardware and software issues
- Respond to service requests and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software applications
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues
- Manage user accounts, including creation, deletion, and modification
- Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex issues
- Document and track all service requests in the ticketing system
- Provide training and support to end-users as needed
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks, including backups and updates
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in an IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office Suite, and other common business applications
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy and Exchange
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new technologies and stay up-to-date with industry trends
