Lead React Developer


*Moving office location to Melville, NY in February 2024*


*This is a hybrid role*


The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Lead React Developer proficient with React.js. The primary focus of the role is to drive the development of front-end components. You will be responsible for high quality, performant deliverables and for helping to create, evangelize, and enforce the standards necessary to meet team and company goals for the customer experience.

As a Lead React Developer you excel at the below core skills

  • Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

The impact you’ll make

  • Develop and implement reusable, high quality, highly responsive components for both web and mobile using react concepts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues in a maintainable, resilient, performant manner
  • Translate wireframes and designs/requirements into high quality, maintainable code
  • Analyze and recommend suggestions for UX usability and performance
  • Participate in multi-resource projects in an agile
  • Evaluate/recommend industry standards, tools, and methods
  • Document software design and contribute to design reviews


What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (computer science or related) or equivalent experience
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in front-end development using JavaScript
  • At least 5-7 years of experience using React
  • At least 5-7 years of experience using Tailwind.css
  • Experience with node.js a plus
  • Experience in defining interfaces and implementing/consuming web services
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (including technical writing)
  • Experience working in a Scrum/agile environment

We understand that our teams need flexibility, which is why we follow a hybrid schedule. Our in-office days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and employees are allowed to work remotely on Wednesdays and Friday.
