Front-End Engineer III, Amazon Games

• 5+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
• 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience
• 2+ years of experience building Electron applications on Windows and Front-End development with MVC/MVVM architectural design patterns

Amazon Games is looking for a Front-End Engineer with experience in building client applications using Electron to join a new and energetic team building engaging customer facing experiences for our games. Key job responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:

• Work closely with stakeholders (PM, UX, TPM, SDM, Game teams, etc...) to refine requirements and perform feasibility assessments
• Define the technical strategy for key features ensuring alignment across all partners (other dev teams, PM, SDM, TPM and, QA)
• Focus on operational excellence, constructively identify problems and propose solutions
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews
• Leverage prior knowledge of building Electron applications

• Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST
• Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
