Front Desk Team Member

Lush Dog Resort is seeking a Front Desk Team Memberwho would like to join our wonderful team and grow with our company. This position is currently a part-time (20-30 hours) position for some early mornings (starting as early as 6:45 am), early afternoons (starting as early as 12-1 pm), evenings (Front Desk closes at 7 pm), and weekends as needed.

Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. If you are an animal lover, awesome. If you are reliable, honest, professional and a team player, even better!

Shifts Available:

• Monday – Friday early mornings and some evenings
• Weekends as needed or Weekends only

Note: your training schedule will vary and some shifts may start earlier so we can allow you to job shadow another staff member.

The right Lush Dog Resort candidate has the following qualifications and skills:

• Awesome customer service skills (service with a smile!).
• Proficient at typing, answering phones, responding to emails, etc.
• Be self-motivated with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Communicates well with customers and staff.
• Able to follow instructions with a positive/cheerful attitude.
• A genuine love of dogs (but this is not a “play with puppies” job)
• Works equally well independently and as a Team Member.
• Be honest, dependable, and responsible.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and their dogs (with enthusiasm!).
• Answering phones and checking voicemail.
• Scheduling reservations for Daycare, Boarding, Grooming, and Meet and Greet evaluations using pet care software (training will be provided).
• Answering customer questions and inquiries via phone, email, or walk-in.
• Maintaining and monitoring daycare/boarding reservations.
• Provide daycare/boarding feedback to customers in regards to their dog(s) day/stay at our Resort.
• Ensuring all vaccines are up to date for each dog to attend daycare/boarding.
• Communicate effectively, respectfully and positively with all customers and staff members.
• Previous Pet Care Industry or Hospitality Receptionist experience is awesome but any Front Desk/administrative experience will be considered.

Hourly Rate:

• Starts at $14.50 (based on experience)
• Performance reviews occur after a 90-day probationary period (pay increases may be given based on performance and attendance).
