The World Equestrian Center-Ocala is currently seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to join our team!

The Front Desk Supervisor is a hotel Supervisor position with primary responsibility to ensure all subordinates are providing exceptional customer service, posting charges, and closing out the day correctly.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise front office operations to assure a continual level of outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain established company policy and processes related to customer service techniques, proper identification and payments, up-selling, and phone etiquette.
  • Maintain a positive relationship and continuous communication with leadership at area hotels to general walked/last minute business. Work with Lodging Manager to maximize unit inventory and use.
  • Assure proper sanitation is maintained throughout the property to include guestroom accommodations, public areas, offices, grounds, and recreation areas. Manage and inspect all areas to ensure they are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Manage reservations office to assure guest needs are properly cared for in a comfortable, safe, and efficient manner.
  • Handle and respond to guest concerns in a timely manner. Ensure the accuracy and attainment of all guests’ interaction logs such as guest complaints, requests, lost and found, maintenance work order, etc for excellent quality control.
  • Demonstrates and promotes a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and property assets in compliance with workplace policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Review current day’s expected arrivals and VIP and special request reservations. Check status of departments and ensure proper processing occurs.
  • Maintain key inventory and controls. Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections.
  • Works with all departments.
  • Performs other duties as directed by management.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Previous hospitality/service industry or similar field supervisory experience preferred.
  • Very Strong Customer Service skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional, courteous attitude.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment.
  • Ability to Multitask.
  • Ability to Train Associates Efficiently and Thoroughly.
