Front Desk Shift Manager (Early Morning)

CLOSINGDATE: Open until Filled

PAY RATE: $12.53 per hour

SCHEDULE: 2 - 3 days per week with 1 Saturday a month. Hours: 4:30 am - 8:30 am

DEPARTMENT: Recreation

Duties include opening the Legacy Center at a set time and then following the procedures for opening the rest of the Legacy Center for daily operation. For safety purposes, walk in with the other Early MorningFront Desk manager. Attendance at a bi-weekly staff meeting is required. Other requirements for this position include but not limited to:

• Work under the general supervision of the Front Desk Head Manager and the Assistant Recreation Director.
• Some knowledge of the principles and objectives of municipal recreation center facility operations, maintenance, programs, classes, and activities; the rules and regulations of facility, program, and aquatic activities for adult, youth, senior citizen activities and interests; effective public relations, cashiering techniques and procedures and city and department policies and procedures.
• Available to work Halloween Extravaganza and Health Fair.
• Pass a background check and a drug test.
• Must be punctual, energetic and willing to work with minimal supervision.

• Must have good public relations skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with people in a fast pace environment.
• Ability to use computers to meet member needs, friendly and courteous attitude.
• Some knowledge of all Cardio and Weight Room equipment.
• Have knowledge of all Legacy Center programs and events.
• Must be CPR/First Aid Certified (can be done at work).
