As a Front Desk Associate at La Quinta Inn in Amarillo, TX, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their stay. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Greeting guests upon arrival and assisting with the check-in process in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Providing guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
- Answering phone calls, responding to guest inquiries, and making reservations as needed.
- Processing payments, handling cash transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
- Addressing guest concerns and resolving issues promptly and courteously.
- Assisting with luggage handling and coordinating guest services such as shuttle arrangements.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the front desk area and lobby.
- Collaborating with other hotel staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Adhering to hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel management software.
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of the local area and attractions is a plus.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) may be advantageous.
