```Job Overview```
As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Front Desk area. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and act as a liaison, as the first person patients interact with, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between the patients and dentist, hygienist, and staff. This is a key position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a small dental office environment.
```Responsibilities```
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner and verify/update billing address, insurance benefit plan, and preferred method of contact.
- Manage all incoming calls, voicemail, and e-mail correspondence, answering telephones with a smile.
-Create productive schedules based on daily production goals, managing recare system and unscheduled tx.
-Estimate available insurance benefits for diagnosed treatment and providing accurate estimates on co-pays
-Enroll patients in ideal dentistry by offering financial and scheduling options.
-Verify diagnosed treatment on the patient’s treatment planning module. Clinical staff should enter new treatment plans at the time of diagnosis.
-Collect payments and co-payments from patients, following up on overdue accounts and collections.
-Batch and process insurance claims daily with all necessary attachments and follow-up on outstanding claims and insurance correspondence.
-Receive and process insurance payments and EOBs and balance ledgers accordingly.
-Provide end-of-day daysheet and reports

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong computer literacy, including solid Dentrix experience to be able to run reports
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and proofreading documents
- Previous dental experience as a Front Desk and insurance coordinator.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Strong problem-solving skills to address patient complaints or issues promptly
