Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Register guests and assign rooms, ensuring all necessary information is obtained
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Assist with resolving guest complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Maintain a clean and organized Front Desk area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk agent or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
- Transcribe: Ability to accurately transcribe information from one format to another.
- Office: Proficient in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Project coordination: Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
- Computerise: Familiarity with computer systems and ability to navigate software programs.
- Medical receptionist: Experience working as a receptionist in a medical setting.
- Data entry: Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
- Clerk: General administrative duties such as filing, organizing documents, etc.
- Phone systems: Knowledge of operating phone systems and handling incoming calls.
- Front desk: Experience working at the Front Desk of a hotel or similar establishment.
- Personal assistant: Ability to provide administrative support to executives or individuals.
