Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary payments
- Maintain patient records and update medical information as needed
- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about services offered
- Ensure the Front Desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
Skills:
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience working in a medical/Chiropractic Office preferred but willing to train the right candidate
- Familiarity with office phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
