Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional Customer Service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and efficient environment for all guests.
Duties:
- Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and reservations
- Operate the POS system to process payments and sell hotel amenities
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the Front Desk area
- Stock supplies and maintain inventory of guest amenities
- Assist with resolving guest complaints or issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Customer Service or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Bilingual language skills (if applicable) are a plus
- Familiarity with operating a cash register is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
