About the Role
We're in search of a dynamic Front Desk Associate to join our clinical Operations team. This role presents a distinctive opportunity to influence the patient experience, collaborating with our dental specialists, as well as Ritual's product and technology teams. Nestled in the heart of iconic Tribeca, NY, our modern office serves as a canvas for creativity and collaboration. Our environment exudes style and comfort, featuring spacious operatory rooms, a private staff lounge, and a patient learning hub for enhanced connection. This is an in person role, based in New York City.
Responsibilities
The Front Desk Associate is primarily responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience, from check in to check out and beyond. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients
- Appointment scheduling & management
- Verifying patient eligibility insurance
- Collecting payments & co pays
- Communicating with patients via phone, email or via Ritual's messaging platform
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well organized Front Desk and patient waiting area
- Providing detailed descriptions of dental treatments, services, and retail products
- Answering patients' questions & empower with knowledge
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and their families
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with client booking software
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Experience working in a tech enabled company a plus
- Dental practice experience a plus

Pay, Perks & Benefits at Ritual
The target pay range for this position is $18-22/hour. Individual compensation for this role will depend on a variety of factors including qualifications, skills and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our competitive benefits plans.
