Neighbors Wines & Spirits is a full-service retail liquor store. We offer thousands of products from everyday favorites to hard-to-find collectible items. We sell our vast selection of products both in store and online for delivery, pickup, and shipping. Neighbors will soon be launching a new delivery service covering a larger area of Long Island.
We are looking for more Neighbors to join our team!
Who are we looking for?
- Attentive, friendly individual who enjoys speaking with customers. We are a very personable business, so customer service and communication skills must be a top quality.
- Attention to detail - there are a lot of moving parts. We are always getting new products and innovating the way we run the business. The ideal candidate can manage multiple workflows and maintain a positive attitude.
- Some degree of wine and spirits knowledge is a must. We will reinforce your knowledge with on the job training.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word), and is comfortable using computers.
- Can manage both up and down. Work directly with owner to execute the Neighbors vision.
What are the work responsibilities?
- The job is focused on customer-centric responsibilities: Cashier, selling products and speaking with customers, answering emails and phone calls, etc.
- Managing staff and ensuring all job responsibilities are covered.
- Admin work - scanning documents, making custom price tags, re-organizing floor displays.
- "Filling in" the gaps where needed.
Compensation and workload is directly tied to applicant's capabilities and performance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
