Freelance Writer - NFL

This position will operate on a remote, freelance basis. To be eligible for this opportunity, you must be located in the US or Canada.

Are you an NFL enthusiast with experience in sports publishing?

GIVEMESPORT.COM is looking for writers to cover impactful NFL content for the website.
GIVEMESPORT is one of the world’s largest independent sports media publishers. It covers news, features, and interviews across a broad range of sports, from football and MMA to the NFL and NBA, catering its content to a global audience of more than 30 million fans each and every month.
We pride ourselves on delivering not just the scores, but the stories behind them. Our team of dedicated writers and contributors is committed to providing insightful commentary, thought-provoking analysis, and in-depth features that go beyond the surface of the game.
Expectations:

• Write a min. of 5 articles per week (lists and features) and meet assigned deadlines
• Generate and pitch new ideas/topics for articles
• Communicate and coordinate with the editorial team for assignments and feedback
• Stay up to date on the latest NFL news including stats, trades, games, injuries, etc.
• Input work into our in-house CMS following our style and formatting guidelines
• Find and format images according to our guidelines

What we're looking for:

• In-depth knowledge and deep passion for the NFL 
• Excellent writing and proof-reading skills 
• Previous experience writing for a sports publication 
• Previous experience working with a CMS
