Responsibilities
Videographer
- Align with project objectives while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Capture high-quality video footage in diverse settings, utilizing professional equipment, including audio and lighting.
- Collaborate with the creative team during pre-production to offer insights on lighting and camera setups, creating comprehensive shot lists.
- Actively participate in pre-production calls.
- Troubleshoot challenges on location, and ensure optimal conditions for on-camera talent; lighting and acoustics.
- Provide guidance on set dressing and prop placement for continuity.
- Direct talent for consistent visual elements; eye line, etc.
- Maintain a professional demeanor on set.
Video Editor
- Edit raw and stock footage using industry-standard software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Final Cut Pro to craft engaging videos.
- Collaborate with designers to integrate graphics, screenshots, and animations seamlessly.
- Skillfully incorporate voiceovers and sound effects for a harmonious blend with visuals, ensuring a cohesive narrative.
- Demonstrate a sense of rhythm in layering music tracks to enhance storytelling visually.
- Implement feedback from stakeholders for necessary revisions.
- Color correct and grade to ensure video consistency and quality.
- Adhere to post-production timelines ensuring milestone deliveries.
- Export videos in various formats.
- Manage and organize video files and assets for efficient access and retrieval.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually improve video quality.
Qualifications
- Possess your equipment or collaborate with the creative team to secure necessary tools.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro with access to the required software.
- Showcase a proven track record as a Videographer and Video Editor, preferably with 3+ years of experience and a portfolio/work samples.
- Comprehensive understanding of video production techniques, equipment operation, and lighting principles.
- Exceptional storytelling and creative abilities, transforming ideas into visually compelling narratives.
- Outstanding attention to detail, coupled with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, delivering results within specified deadlines.
- Adaptability to accommodate changing project requirements.
