We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative and fun-loving team members, and are looking for a Freelance Video Editor/Motion Designerto come join our New York based headquarters.
Working directly with the Creative Team leads, this role will be responsible for producing disruptive paid ads, social content, and motion graphics by editing video deliverables across our site to further help elevate the brand.
Responsibilities:
- Video Editing
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos highlighting the unique features and benefits of Tommy John underwear
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure our video content aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our target audience
- Motion Graphic Design
- Create visually stunning motion graphics that enhance the storytelling aspect of our video content, showcasing the quality and craftsmanship of Tommy John products
- Develop and implement innovative animations that elevate the overall visual appeal of our ads
- Paid Ad Production
- Conceptualize and produce engaging paid ads for online platforms, emphasizing the comfort, fit, and style of Tommy John underwear
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into ad creation for optimal audience engagement
- YouTube Ad Production
- Develop and edit YouTube ads that effectively communicate the brand message, highlighting Tommy John's commitment to quality and comfort
- Optimize video content for YouTube algorithms to maximize visibility and reach
- Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product design, and site to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to video production
- Provide creative input to enhance the overall quality of our video content and maintain brand consistency
Experience, Skills, & Attributes:
- 5+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics design
- Proficient in industry-standard video editing and motion graphic design software (eg. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro)
- Demonstrates alignment with TJ core values: Humble, Adaptable, Mindful, GSD, & Curious
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in creating compelling paid ads, YouTube ads, and motion graphics, with experience in the fashion or apparel industry preferred
- Understanding of marketing principles and the ability to translate them into visually appealing video content that emphasizes product features and benefits
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Creative thinker with the ability to bring innovative ideas to showcase Tommy John's unique selling points
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Targeted Hourly Rate: $40 to $45/hr
