Job Summary:

We are seeking someone to research and collect information pertinent to the performance of undergraduate and graduate programs within the United States. Providing College Counseling services, it is critical to stay atop the performance of schools, and to hold universities responsible to provide the equitable and egalitarian resources that their legacies and prestige insinuate. As reporter, you will be interviewing, sifting through public records, and working to write on what every parent in the United States cares about: where is the best place for my child to attend university.

Duties:

- Conduct interviews with university staff and personel

- Conduct thorough research to gather information for news stories on post-graduation performance

- Collect key performance metrics on 160-170 universities in the United States

- Attend events, press conferences, and interviews to gather firsthand information

- Write clear, concise, and engaging news articles for publication

- Edit and proofread articles for accuracy and clarity

- Collaborate with photographers and videographers to enhance news coverage

- Utilize video production skills to create compelling news segments

- Stay updated on current events, trends, and developments in various industries

- Conduct interviews with sources to gather quotes and insights

- Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines of journalism

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field required

- Proven experience as a Reporter or Journalist

- Strong writing skills with the ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content

- Proficiency in photography and video production techniques

- Bilingual proficiency is a plus

- Excellent research skills with the ability to gather accurate information from reliable sources

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interview sources effectively

- Attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills

Note: All positions are paid including internship positions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
