THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a Fraud Prevention Strategy Analyst to be responsible for Global Rule writing, performing complex analysis and modeling for multiple clients and maintaining an overall health risk portfolio for the Debit and Credit card portfolios on card processing platforms. Reviews and extracts data and uses multiple platforms to acquire statistical and financial data. Utilizes portfolio trends to propose policy/procedural changes within segmentation structure to produce optimal results.

WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:

  • Responsible for Global Rule writing, performing complex analysis and modeling for multiple clients and maintaining an overall health risk portfolio for the Debit and Credit card portfolios on card processing platforms.

  • Reviews and extracts data and uses multiple platforms to acquire statistical and financial data. Utilizes portfolio trends to propose policy/procedural changes within segmentation structure to produce optimal results.

  • Collaborates with other internal teams to serve as client advocate for fraud and risk items and special projects or requests for statistical or financial data.

  • Regular and reliable attendance. This position may require early/late hours and availability during weekends to ensure client support on fraud monitoring.

  • Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must have strong prioritization skills and demonstrate the ability to develop and utilize performance. metrics and productivity reports.

  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently problem solve.

  • The individual must also be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to work with cross functional teams.

  • Quantitative and analytical skills.

  • Some travel may be required.

  • Data analysis experience and strong attention to detail.

  • Operational Risk and Fraud Experience- knowledge of fraud processes and products.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • Some college level courses in a business-related field helpful.

  • A minimum 3 years of fraud monitoring and analysis experience in a financial institution or EFT and 5 or more years related experience with debit/credit card processing, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

For California, Colorado and New York Applicants: In accordance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is between:

$60,400.00 - $75,500.00

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
