Specialized fraud investigation company seeking an enthusiastic entry-level or experienced professional for an in-house/desktop investigator.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Conducts in-depth internet-based searches to obtain information or evidence regarding a specific individual or subject
- Navigate and search all social media sites and apps to capture information or evidence regarding a specific individual or subject
- Conduct medical and insurance canvasses
- Assist and support the Operations Management Team in seeking out leads to locate individuals or subjects
- Conduct detailed interviews of individuals, subjects, witnesses, etc.
- Compile all findings into comprehensive investigative reports
- Act in a field support capacity as a secondary field investigator conducting surveillance
- Manage assigned case load in a thoughtful and efficient manner, with special attention given to deadlines
Minimum Requirements
- 18 years old with high school diploma or GED
- Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance
- Proficient in use of personal computer (PC) with MS Office Suite of programs
- Proficient in use of email, internet, and mobile applications
- Successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check
Desired Education and Experience
- 1+ years previous experience as a private investigator perferred
- Law enforcement and/or military experience
- Understanding of insurance fraud investigations and techniques
- Some college experience preferred
