SalaryWe are currently seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our diverse team as Framingham Police Officers. As a Police Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining law and order, protecting the community, and ensuring public safety. This is a challenging yet rewarding career that requires strong skills in conflict management, surveillance, and law enforcement.
DUTIES:
- Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public order
- Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and respond to emergency situations
- Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and make arrests when necessary
- Write detailed reports on incidents, accidents, and investigations
- Provide first aid and emergency assistance to individuals in need
- Manage traffic flow and enforce traffic laws
- Respond to calls for service and provide assistance to the community
- Conduct surveillance operations to gather intelligence on criminal activities
- Additional responsibilities, as determined by the Framingham PD
SKILLS:
To excel in the role of a Framingham Police Officer, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong report writing skills to accurately document incidents and investigations
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for patrol duties
- Ability to work in an environment with discipline and professionalism
- Relevant certification or training in law enforcement is preferred but not required
- Strong leadership qualities to take charge of critical situations
