THE OPPORTUNITY
Silvus is seeking a full-time FPGA Verification Engineer reporting to the Director of FPGA Engineering on the FPGA Engineering team. The successful individual in this role will be responsible for contributing to Silvus' RTL verification suite including testbenches, test vectors, coverage data, and automation scripts.
This person will also work closely with RTL design engineers and MATLAB systems engineers to produce and maintain effective testbenches. 
 
This position is on a hybrid schedule, a minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected. On-site days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The location for this role is Silvus' HQ in the heart of West Los Angeles, CA .

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Maintain, add to, and improve existing HDL testing infrastructure.
    • Automate certain test suites with scripts.
    • Collect, maintain, and use code coverage data from test suites.
    • Hardware verification and troubleshooting; familiarity with logic analyzers.
    • Perform other tasks, as necessary, of which the above are representative.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant fields. 
    • Experience or exposure to FPGA design or testing/verification.
    • Basic experience with tcl or python
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
    • Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE).
    • Basic MATLAB skill.
    • Familiarity with fixed point arithmetic.
$80,000 - $100,000 a year
The pay range is NOT a guarantee, is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
