Reporting to the VP of Finance, the FP&A Manager will prepare complex financial analyses, budgets, forecasts, and reports for the Dexter Distribution Group. This is a highly strategic position that will ensure the development of forecasts for future business growth and general financial outlook and provide leadership by being a trusted partner and adviser to the Distribution leadership team.
The manager will play an integral role in developing and executing weekly and monthly reports, performance management dashboards and models, and ad-hoc analysis of key opportunities for the business. This position will help to establish long-term goals and the strategic plan. Key focus areas include sales and margin, inventory, capital, and project costs. Self-starters with a positive attitude and strong work ethic will thrive.
Key tasks for this role will include:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth
- Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting
- Play an integral role in the monthly forecast and annual budgeting processes
- Be a key business partner for the Distribution organization
- Prepare financial presentations to Senior Management
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives
- Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions to support growth initiatives
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Report out results of key metrics/KPI’s to management
- Champion product and customer level profitability analytics and reporting
- Develop efficiencies and process improvements within the team’s work streams
The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of related experience in financial planning and analysis.

EDUCATION
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or advance degree is a plus.
