We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. As an FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making within the organization. This is a key role that will contribute to the overall financial health and success of the company.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with other departments on developing and maintaining financial models
- Analyze, build reporting packages, develop metrics to measure performance of communities.
- Clearly and pro-actively provide and communicate the results of financial analysis via written deliverables and oral presentation.
- Efficiently integrate models with other data sources and reporting tools. Validate the quality and completeness of all data analyzed and reported. Continuously improve existing tools and expand modeling and analysis capabilities of the team.
- Develop periodic or ad-hoc financial reports and associated analyses, as required.
- Participate in annual operating and capital budget process including the collection of financial data, identifying operational trends, developing assumptions, etc.
- Prepares analytical studies, reports, profitability analyses, financial surveys and statistical reports
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in accounting or finance or a related field from four-year college or university; and two to five years related experience and/or training.
- 5-7 years of relevant FP&A, corporate strategy/business analysis experience – senior living or hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge of Yardi
- Heavy financial modeling experience to include full financial statement modeling and developing financial projections
- Technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge and experience (US GAAP) and strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting and an understanding of integration of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll systems required.
- Strong organizational skills and high level of accuracy is essential.
- Must have an excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment.
