Foundation Program Manager
Location: Indianapolis, IN
This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office) and has an on-site requirement of 1-2 days/week. The ideal candidate will reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way the Elevance Health PulsePoint location listed above.
The Foundation Program Manager will be responsible for managing the enterprise-wide efforts of the Foundation to ensure alignment with the corporate strategy, values, and business objectives.
How you will make an impact:
Cultivate positive change by partnering with communities; engaging with Elevance Health associates and fostering goodwill
Strategic Planning and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement strategic plans that align with the Elevance Health foundation's mission.
Grants Management: oversee the end to end grant process – from applications evaluation to distributing funds and monitoring the progress of recipients.
Associate Engagement: Support strategy and tactics to increase associate engagement to meet established CEO/leadership goals within the volunteering and giving programs.
Networking and Collaboration: build relationships with nonprofits, government agencies, and other external and internal stakeholders to create collaborations.
Awareness: Promote and showcase Elevance Health philanthropic efforts, spreading awareness about various causes and maximizing community impact.
Evaluation & Impact Assessment: monitor and evaluate the community health impact. This assessment allows for course correction if needed and ensures that the Elevance Health foundation's initiatives and funds are effectively driving the desired change.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Elevance Health Foundation and Elevance Health CARES governance and fiduciary responsibility
Build programs and relationships with NPOs and community leaders
Facilitate disaster response and community resiliency efforts
Assist with philanthropic programs that provide emergency relief and hardship support for Elevance Health associates.
Provide direction, incentive and remove barriers in order to maximize associate community engagement.
Build awareness for philanthropic community programs and engagement opportunities
Capture and report community health impact
Develop, execute, and monitor comprehensive leadership training plan for executives relative to social responsibility and community engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related area; a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, associate involvement or leadership training; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Sophisticated knowledge of the health care industry strongly preferred.
