SAIC is looking for a Program Control Team Manager to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in the planning, tracking analysis, and reporting on projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk.
- Implementation of financial policies and procedures in support of projects; establishment and maintenance of cost/schedule baselines; development of WBS and related dictionaries, schedules and budgets; performs related variance analyses; and preparation of written and verbal reports to management regarding cost schedule variances.
- This position will have significant interface with Branch Managers and Project Managers, Senior Technical Personnel, as well as other organizations. Leadership and Management:
- Directly supervises individual contributors (skilled technicians, administrative support) and/or entry-level professionals (accountants, entry-level engineers).
- Responsible for the managing and coordination of TACP-M's operations and staff as well as for overall program organization.
- Director of short and long term plans.
- Must be able to: organize resources to ensure effective production/integration of products services, prioritize and direct tasking, resolve problems, prepare schedules and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
- Will also be tasked with reviewing, analyzing, and preparing reports, records, and directives
- Will assign delegate responsibility for specified work or functional activities and negotiation with company's personnel for necessary resources
- Must also establish the control of technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs.
- Attend program/projects meetings and report status
- Generate program/project schedules and monthly status reports.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
- Bachelor's Degree and ten (10) years’ experience; master’s and either (8) years’ experience. At least three years of the experience must be in performing acquisition logistics for the DoD or an Associate's Degree with at least 5 years' experience performing acquisition logistics for the DoD or equivalent military experience performing acquisition logistics for the DoD in lieu of a degree.
- Experience preforming project management
- Proficient with computers and experienced in Microsoft Office programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Outlook.
- Able to work independently and be detail oriented, multi-task supporting multiple customers both internal and external.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Interim clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
