Foster Care Adoption Social Worker/ Counseling

Provide Case Management skills to resource parents with the appropriate clearances from Department of Justice. Complete paperwork to maintain state compliance with community care licensing. 1st aid CPR required with a MA in social science, or MA in counseling, or Masters in social worker. Experience in Foster Care, billigual in spanish, and CARF accreditation is a plus. Provide advocacy.to foster children and foster parents. Provide transportation and supervise visits as needed for the foster children, Adoption workers need MSW to complete adoption services for adoption. Train foster parents/ adoption parents as needed. Counsel foster parents, foster children and counseling clients from the community. Clinical Supervision is available by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience with no cost to the employee. Kaiser insurance is provided to the employee.
