Formulations/R&D Intern

Duration: May 20th- Mid March
Description: Formulation/R&D intern for data management and material evaluations.
Duties would include, but not be limited to the following:
- Raw material bench-top physical evaluations
- Purchasing specification generation
- Scanning and entering old formulations for storage
- Design of new FMF specifications/working with IT
Expected outcome of internship:
- Basic understanding of food/supplement fortification
- Understanding of physical properties of food additives
- Introduction into food/supplement processing
Qualifications:
- Either 1 year of college chemistry/biology recent classes OR 1 year of on-the-job laboratory skills (weighing, making solutions, etc…)
- Basic to intermediate user knowledge of Microsoft excel
- Good working knowledge of algebraic mathematics
- Good organizational skills
