SalaryDESCRIPTION
This position will service the warehouse including but not limited to shipping, picking, packing, banding, loading, unloading, and sorting receipts while following all safety policies and procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITIES
- Must be currently forklift trained or certified or complete in-house training.
- Use forklift to move, locate, relocate, and stack packaged moulding.
- Receive shipments at the dock safely and move to appropriate storage areas.
- Transport products in a safe manner without damage.
- Pull and pack moulding and wood to standard requirements.
- Familiarity of the bar code scanner and WMS.
- Assist in maintaining a safe work environment by keeping warehouse areas clean, neat, and orderly.
- Operate a forklift in a manner that promotes safety compliance with OSHA and SDS standards.
- Stock employee workstations as needed.
- Cross training available to assist in other warehouse areas needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Flexibility to turn head, neck, shoulder, and waist to ensure work area is safe.
- Continuous use of arms and legs to operate forklift mandatory to perform job.
- Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, and movement of products weighing up to 100lbs.
- Continuous standing, walking, and bending.
