SalaryWe are looking for a Registered Nurse for our Preop/PACU department to care for our patients and facilitate their speedy recovery. The Grand Island Surgery Center provides a fun family-oriented atmosphere with competitive wages and benefits program. No night shifts, weekends, holidays, or call.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
- Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
- Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
- Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
Skills
- Previous peri-operative experience is preferred, but willing to train qualified candidates.
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedure.
- A team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Well organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Valid nursing license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
