Equipment Mechanic Technician
As a Toyotalift Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational availability of a wide array of industrial equipment. You will apply your technical skills to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical industrial equipment (forklifts). You will repair equipment to insure the equipment’s reliability and minimize or eliminate downtime.
This is a physically demanding job requires walking and standing all day, as well as, bending, squatting, kneeling, and lying on the ground intermittently throughout the day. Equipment Technicians must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and utilize tools as needed. Must be dependable, honest, and hard working.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all industrial equipment
- Perform Corrective Maintenance (repairs) on more than one of these types of equipment:
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Order parts and supplies, for equipment
- Log all work as performed
- Perform other tasks as instructed by management.

Requirements:
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of identity and employment eligibility will be required.
- Experience preferred in a mechanic capacity on equipment and/or have equivalent training or relevant education.
- If no experience we will train qualified individuals who display aptitude and the desire to learn equipment repair techniques.
- Required to have your own tools to perform mechanic duties
- Verbal and written communication skills (able to understand and record work performed on work orders)
- Prefer Candidate to have an I.C and electric background – ASE Certified desired
- Solid electrical knowledge (has a thorough understanding of electrical requirements and hazards)
- Advanced skills with a voltmeter to check AC/DC voltage, able to diagnose issues, able to use a schematic diagram to troubleshoot electrical systems
- Proficient with basic hydraulic system operations
- Ability to analyze problems and error conditions, troubleshoot root causes, and implement viable long-term solutions
- Safety oriented
- Ability to work off-shifts, as needed
