About the Role
Generates and maintains an account all materials, transfers and receipts throughout the plant using the MRP system. Loads, unloads, and/or moves materials within or near plant, or work site.
Your Responsibilities
- Report over/under shipments to supplier and supervisor for immediate resolution.
- Receives all small package shipments as required verifying incoming and outgoing material against packing slip/purchase order for accuracy.
- Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
- Assists receiving with raw in-process material that is to be moved to the warehouse or main floor.
- Completes operator check sheets on hi-los and keeps hi-los clean.
- Conveys materials between designated areas and performs all inventory transactions between control points.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods of time.
- Must maintain proper vision requirements
- Must be able to maintain alertness to their surroundings.
- Must have a current and valid Driver’s License.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months experience in receiving related field preferred
- Industrial truck driving experience
