Forklift Operator/Warehouse

Mitco is a US-based manufacturer of high quality solid tires for the material handling industry. We've recently opened a new distribution center in Woodland, CA and are looking to add an experienced Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate to the team. The ideal candidate will be punctual, reliable and have a good attitude and work ethic. Must be a quick learner and problem solver who can adapt and take direction while working with minimal supervision. This position also requires that you pay close attention to detail and have good organizational skills. Forklift and warehousing experience isREQUIRED.

Shift is 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.

Starting pay for this positions is $18-$20 per hour.

Responsibilities:

- Unload all inbound deliveries from trucks or containers using forklifts and/or pallet jacks

- Check in and verify quantity and product numbers match incoming order/transfer invoice

- Operate forklifts and/or pallet jacks to move material to it's assigned area in warehouse

- Pull orders based on order/transfer invoice then stage, verify and wrap for shipment

-Load all outgoing orders on trucks and containers using forklifts and/or pallet jacks

- Pull, wrap and stage any will call/pickup orders in designated area for walk in customers

- Assist with inventory control, cycle counting and general organization of warehouse

- Conduct audits to identify and rectify discrepancies in inventory and system records.

- Collaborate with other warehouse associate to ensure efficient and proper operations

- Assist in other warehouse duties and activities as directed by the manager

- Keep forklifts and all equipment clean and organized at all times

- Adhere to all safety guidelines, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

- Keep a clean and safe work environment ensuring all areas of the warehouse are kept orderly and free of debris.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 year previous forklift operator experience in a warehouse environment

- Minimum of 2 year previous experience in warehousing operations and procedures

- Excellent attention to detail and great organizational skills

- Competent literacy skills to read orders and labels without transposing part numbers

- Competent verbal and written communication skills

- Competent basic addition and subtraction math skills

- Able to lift up to 75 pounds

- Basic computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
