Real Estate Portfolio Director

QUALIFICATIONS:

• In depth knowledge of building and developing a Real Estate team and implementing meaningful process improvements
• Experience with Real Estate software (TANGO preferred), and data management and analytics best practices
• Experience leading a fast-paced team that manages 100+ active transactions
• Advanced knowledge of corporate industrial Real Estate and related financial terms and principles
• Progressive experience leading teams that work with both Corporate and Operations Management
• Experience in Real Estate strategy and exposure to overall Corporate Real Estate delivery model (acquisition/disposition, construction, facility management)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage many priorities
• Experience working with Corporate Legal teams
• Experience working with external Corporate Real Estate brokers
• Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 15 years of progressive experience in corporate industrial Real Estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, leases, easements, licenses, and condemnations
• 5 years of people leadership experience

• Own and manage the relationship between company operating management, external brokers, and internal/external legal teams for all Real Estate related matters and initiatives
• Lead Real Estate Portfolio strategy, key performance indicators, business reporting, and optimization to ensure maximization of profitability and efficiency
• Effectively enhance and refine standards, processes, and procedures within the Real Estate organization, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with industry best practices
• Seek out and utilize industry sources of market intelligence to optimize the performance of the portfolio through insightful analysis and data-driven insights.
• Establish reporting and analytics strategy to interpret market trends, assess property performance and generate actionable insights. Ensure consistent and effective data management of the Real Estate Portfolio system (TANGO)
• Advise Real Estate team regarding acquisition and site selection, dispositions, leases, easements, licenses, condemnations, etc.
• Collaborates with broker services, organizing seamless coordination of services and activities including engagement documents, pipeline/status reports, and critical date tracking
• Partners closely with the Legal team on all real-estate related contracts to address and navigate compliance and mitigate risk.
• Supports staff and field operations with Real Estate-related business cases, securing approvals and ensuring execution
