We have multiple Distribution Warehouse Forklift jobs available in our HNI Workplace Furnishings Operations facilities in Muscatine, IA.
- $17.00-22.00 per hour based on prior warehouse experience and forklift skills.
- Available shifts:
- 2nd shift: Mon-Thur, 3pm-1am
- Weekend shift: Fri-Sun, 6am - 6pm
Job duties include:
- Operating power industrialized vehicles such as a forklift, clamp truck, and/or tugger.
- Verifying all product to ensure shipments are accurate.
- Move product within our facilities to support production or distribution activities.
- Use RF scanning equipment and computer equipment.
- Performing periodic inventory audits and reporting any material shortages.
- Maintain clean work area.
- Checking and maintaining material handling maintenance logs, evaluating the safety of material handling equipment, and participating in required safety training to acquire and maintain material handling certification.
- Will work under minimal supervision and at times minimal direction.
- Member will be expected to maintain flexibility and will occasionally perform other roles.
- Follow standard work processes and adhering to all quality standards and safety rules.

What is expected?
- Flexibility – be willing to learn and rotate through multiples roles within the facility.
- Safety – comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures; meet the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Environment – Dust, fumes and noise are common; while some facilities are climate controlled, seasonal fluctuations in temperatures and humidity are expected.

Requirements

- Pass a 7-year criminal background check
- High school diploma or GED is not required
