The Food Service Manager will be assigned to the Methodist Hospital in Merrillville, IN. In this position you will gain hands on experience and be trained in all areas of our healthcare food operations including production, culinary, retail/cafe, catering, and patient Food Services.

We are looking for candidates who will:

• have oversight of day-to-day operations
• deliver high quality Food Service
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships
• coach and develop staff
• create a positive environment; and
• ensure Sodexo Standards are met

 

The ideal candidate:

• has a desire to learn healthcare Food Service management experience  
• has a knowledge of safety and sanitation compliance
• has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
• can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
• is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.
