Food Service Delivery Driver

Harbour Food Service Equipment is looking for a Delivery Driver who will be responsible for the delivery of restaurant supplies (including but not limited to; small appliances, shelving units, tables, etc.)

Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers

- Load and unload items from the vehicle

- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries

- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner

- Verify the contents of each delivery against shipping papers or invoices

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role preferred

- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles

- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds)

- Familiarity with box trucks, forklifts, or other commercial driving equipment is a plus

- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures is beneficial

- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines

- Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented mindset
