Our growing company is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Server. Food Servers collaborate with Cooks, Chefs, Restaurant Managers and other foodservice staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive reputation for the organization. Ultimately, you will help provide an unforgettable dining experience for our customers
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to the scheduled locations.
- Arranges tables and decorations as needed.
- Sets buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to pre-established standards.
- Serves food and beverages to customers.
- Cleans and packs dishes and utensils.
- Checks to ensure that all display foods are merchandised attractively according to pre-established standards.
- Handles foods items appropriately during preparation.
- Serves food neatly and attractively according to pre-established standards.
- Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
- Cleans workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
- Assists with food and table prep before events begin.
- Serves plated dinners to guests and responds to requests for beverages, appetizers and other needs.
- Cleans up venue after event ends and assists with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasks.
- Loading, transporting, and delivering produce between catering sites in a safe and timely manner. Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Deliver product efficiently
- Handle company equipment properly, follow written driver safety rules, and perform pre-trip inspection
- Report accidents and injuries and any damage to equipment immediately
- Handle any customer complaints professionally
- Meet or exceed minimum productivity levels established by the Company
- Follow all the policies as designated by the transportation department.
- Responsible for upkeep of vehicles at end of shift- clean cab.

- Work overtime if required as requested by the Supervisor.
- Must be able to follow California labor code 512(a) related lunches and break policy and House of Services (HOS)
- Good attendance and adherence to work schedule (6:00 am - 2:30 PM), working on weekend.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Excellent communication in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence.
- Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced.
- Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff and customers.
- Detail-oriented and thorough.
- Sound knowledge of food allergies and foodborne illnesses.
- Must meet any applicable state and local health requirements for food handlers.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma, GED, or a suitable alternative.
- 2+ years of kitchen production experience.
- Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and “clean” driving record (Including : No single DUI)
- Must have basic math skills( add, subtract, multiple, divide)
- Minimum of 1 year driving of continuous experience for a previous employer.
- Proven ability to communicate articulately in English and perform simple arithmetic.
- Must pass all pre-employment requirements.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods walking or standing.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 60 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.
- Repeated bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.08 per hour
