As a Food Server, you will be responsible for taking and delivering customer orders, addressing menu inquiries, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Your duties include finalizing checks and maintaining guest satisfaction.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Participate in promotional activities, including posing for pictures.
- Greet and engage with guests in a positive and friendly manner upholding AREA15's service standards.
- Utilize upselling techniques for menu items and beverages.
- Efficiently deliver food and beverages, ensuring quality and meeting guest needs.
- Reset tables promptly for the next guests.
- Accurately itemize bills and process payments efficiently.
- Perform side tasks to ensure cleanliness and stock in assigned areas.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly with a sense of urgency.
- Communicate effectively with management, chefs, culinary staff, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver a seamless dining experience.
- Handle credit card transactions accurately at the point of sale system.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation following SNHD standards.
- Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive guests and promptly bring to a manager’s attention.
- Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude.
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards.
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity.
- Ability to maintain composure and stay focused.
- Ensure to respond to requests in a timely manner
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
- Must exhibit “ART!” to internal and external guests at all times.
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to AREA15 standards.
- Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Minimum 1 year serving experience in a high volume dinning setting.
- Valid work cards (Health, Alcohol Awareness, and Non-Gaming).
- Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
- Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat, and sun exposure.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds independently.
