General Summary of Job Duties
As a Food Server you will be supporting the Ti Amo Restaurant. While providing superior service in a friendly professional manner.
Essential Job Function and Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests, staff and culinary production team.
- Make eye contact, smile, greet and welcome each guest seated in assigned station.
- Take initial beverage order within 3 minutes of guests being seated.
- Be very familiar with all food and beverages items on the menu.
- Be responsible for proper communication flow with the kitchen staff.
- Maintain and ensure the overall cleanliness of assigned stations.
- Have complete knowledge of all food and beverages items on the menu.
- Communicate proper flow with the kitchen staff.

- Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain an open line of communication with Management.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow team members, and vendors.
- Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
- Arrive on time and regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education and Other Requirements
- Previous food serving is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Wine knowledge and experience is a plus.
- Food allergy knowledge is a plus.
- The ability to successfully work in a fast -paced and potentially stressful environment.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
- High School Diploma and/or GED preferred.
- Must have the ability to successfully interact with other team members and management.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
