Food Scientist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scientist to join our team.

As a Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research, performing experiments, and analyzing data to support our food production operations. Your expertise in FDA regulations, continuous improvement, quality assurance, and microbiology will be crucial in ensuring the safety and quality of our products.

Duties:

- Conduct scientific research and experiments related to food production

- Collect and analyze data to evaluate product quality and performance

- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with FDA regulations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for continuous improvement

- Perform root cause analysis to investigate and resolve any issues related to product quality or performance

- Fabricate prototypes and conduct laboratory tests to assess product functionality

- Maintain accurate records of experiments, data collection, and analysis

- Stay updated on industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory changes

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and quality assurance practices

- Proficient in laboratory techniques and equipment operation

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets

- Experience with root cause analysis methodologies

- Knowledge of microbiology principles and techniques

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred)

- Previous experience in food production or related industry is required

- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies is a plus

Pay: $65,665.00 - $86,128.00 per year
